Tomorrow's Woman has been in operation since January, 2004.
We are located in Griffin Georgia. Considered a ?recovery town? there are
meetings specifically designed for all types of recovery. There were residential
programs for men but none for women. Recognizing this need, Tomorrow's Woman
was established.
Tomorrow's Woman is a twelve-step/recovery home run in the
tradition of AA. Our goal is to help women become self-sufficient. We offer a
variety of services to achieve this goal. Life skills training is provided for
all residents. We enable our residents to work towards their GED, if needed.
Further educational opportunities are offered at the local college if the
resident desires. Residents are provided with a job search program, allowing
them to obtain permanent positions. Transportation to and from work is provided
since there are no public transportation facilities in Griffin.
Tomorrow's Woman encourages the resident to direct their efforts to becoming
confident in their abilities as well as competent in their professional lives.
We are committed to the belief that these tools will allow the resident to
sustain a meaningful lifestyle.
Our goal is for our resident to become Tomorrow's Woman beginning Today.
